ABOUT SINGING
I used to sing exclusively when everything else failed. By singing, I somehow recovered from whatever ailed me. Maybe that's why most of my tunes have a melancholic air to them. But now I sing all the time, mostly in my head, walking down the dirty streets of Bogotá or late at home with my new love: the guitar.
I believe in music's healing power (for myself), but I'm also looking for some kind of communication with those who, like me, enjoy breathing no matter how painful it may get. So these songs are for me, and of course, for you.

This is the ongoing 2010 project. No master yet!
TRAIL EP (2009)
The German-Japanese Music Label Intervall-Audio has released the Trail EP with six of my songs, re-mastered, cleaned and ready to be shared for free, under a Creative Commons license. The beautiful artwork for the cover was designed by the über-talented Rafa Zubiria [WEB]. The complete booklet is also available to download from the Intervall-Audio website [here].
I'm very thankful with Stan for his endurance and caring persistence, and with Rafa for the unexpected joy he's brought to my eyes.
OTHER SONGS
tentative d'évasion is a poem by Jean Cocteau.
BARTOK*YO is a series of de-arrangements on one of my favourites composers: Bartok.
tanto monta, monta tanto, like a fleeting dream, has been left as a sketch.
RABANO is
my name spelled backwards, which means radish in
Spanish. It's a collection of unfinished songs, mostly using acoustic instruments.
THE OLD ONES
andrei is a sigh that came out after I saw Tarkovsky's "Nostalghia".
The voice on this track was recorded only once, without any rehearsal
or previous plan.
In cold there is very little arrangement, little composition
and little lyrics. The background sound was recorded from my window,
during a storm in rainy season.
ferrequiem is my homage to Luc Ferrari and nioi is
just a scent.
